ining Da 'an Airport is a 4C-level civil regional airport. The airport covers an area of 2,909 mu, with a runway that is 2,800 meters long and 45 meters wide. The terminal building has an area of 29,700 square meters and is equipped with 16 C-class aircraft stands and 8 jet Bridges. This phase of the project is designed with the target of handling 2.6 million passengers and 7,000 tons of cargo and mail by 2025. As an important component of the province's "Three Hubs and Thirteen Branches" transport airport cluster, it has been receiving extensive attention from all sectors of society since its construction began.

From the outside, the design concept of Jining Da 'an Airport fully draws on the profound Confucian culture and the unique canal culture. The roof shape of the terminal building is initially as bright and harmonious as a raw jade, and also like auspicious clouds rising and rising. The design concept of "auspicious clouds and raw jade" echoes the Confucian spirit of "a gentleman is like jade". The eaves are shaped like water and undulating waves, symbolizing the smoothness and vitality brought by the canal culture.

Entering the terminal building, one can see the spacious and open interior space. The strict ceiling divider lines make the waiting hall space freely expand and full of vitality. By extracting relevant elements from the space and color tones of the "Saxon" aluminum alloy slats, the configuration and texture of the interior are re-expressed. The traditional Chinese temple form is reborn in a modern form at the airport.

The reception room and the baggage claim area are connected, and their facade and ceiling structure also echo each other. Under the same aluminum strip plate texture, the light film of the baggage claim area corresponds to the ceiling design of the reception room. The wall connects the living room and the baggage claim hall, creating a sense of unity. It is in beige, which is in harmony with the main color of the terminal building.
