Chongqing Wushan Airport

The Chongqing Wushan Airport terminal building adopts the design concept of "Floating Mountain Sunset," highlighting the regional cultural characteristics of the Three Terraces, Eight Scenic Spots, and Twelve Peaks of Wushan. The overall layout fully integrates the characteristics of a tourist city, emphasizing regional culture and modern elements. The total building area is approximately 3,500 square meters, featuring a front-row, single-story flow design. The roof uses an insulated aluminum panel system, which is energy-efficient and economical. The roof is cut along a designated curve in the middle, with different stretches and elevations on the landside sections. Its architectural form is inspired by undulating mountain peaks, the streamlined waters of the Yangtze River, and the graceful goddess of Wushan.
