Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport
Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, with the core concept of "East charm, West grace, humanistic wings", has quietly settled in the northeastern corner of Lushan Island for 67 years. It is the first airport in China to be entirely constructed with foreign loans and is also the most "artistic" air gateway in the southeast coastal area. The T4 terminal building takes the shape of "Great Peng spreading its wings". The 97,000-square-meter curtain wall gradually slopes at 2.5° to 27.5° within the column area. The 125mm to 1040mm horizontal aluminum decorative strips and the梭形 perforated louvers not only provide shade but also stand out, making the building facade change like layers of wings as the viewing angle varies. The interior is transformed into ocean blue tones, Gulangyu illustrations, and biological pattern walls, bringing a tropical style to the scene.
